Tate Foley, a candidate for the one-year print position
will be visiting the campus and giving a presentation of his work
on Tuesday, March 23 at 10 am in the Tweed Lecture Gallery.
Tate comes from the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA, where he has been finishing his graduate studies in print and teaching a range of courses. He brings a mix of studio practice and graphic design, with digital, traditional and bookmaking applications. Recently he was awarded a fellowship from the Southern Graphics Council, a national selection process. Tate has further distinguished himself through numerous solo and group exhibitions, representation in public and private collections, and an active record of participation in professional forums and panel presentations.
